Visions of Justice Exhibition at San Francisco District Attorney's Office

  • Hall of Justice 850 Bryant, 3rd Floor San Francisco (map)

A public exhibition featuring stories and photographs by Brian L. Frank & Project Rebound workshop students

Please join San Francisco District Attorney George Gascón, Mayor Willie Brown, Susan Brown, CatchLight and Project Rebound in celebrating Visions of Justice — the first visual storytelling showcase ever held at the Hall of Justice.

In August 2018, CatchLight in partnership with Project Rebound, launched the pilot “Visions of Justice” photography workshop at San Francisco State University, immersing formerly incarcerated students in finding their visual voices and expressing their own visions of justice through photography. Their resulting work, featured in this exhibition, explores personal experiences and ideas of freedom and justice.

This event is free and open to the public. Remarks will begin at 6pm.

The Visions of Justice workshop & exhibition is generously supported by the Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting, the Willie Brown Institute, the District Attorney’s Office of San Francisco in partnership with CatchLight, and Project Rebound. Featured in VICE.
