Artist Bio:

Time Magazine Person of the Year 2018, photographer, writer and curator Shahidul Alam obtained a PhD in chemistry before switching to photography. A speaker at Harvard, Oxford and Cambridge universities, Alam’s work has been exhibited in MOMA and Tate Modern. John Morris describes his book My Journey as a Witness as “the most important book ever written by a photographer.”
